PH Level

Hi everyone.
My PH level is currently 8.0
It has been 8.0 since I setup the tank 8 weeks ago. Is there anything I can do to get the level up a bit ? I understand 8.2 is where is should be, correct me if I'm wrong.

Dripping Kalk has numerous advantages- I just ordered a rebuilt hospital peristaltic doser for about $59 instead of the annoying drip box I have (waiting impatienly for UPS). Short term tho, you can get a pH buffer additive (the powder is cheaper than the liquid) that will raise it in a day or two. If you are using RO/DI water for top-offs, its generally pH neutral, so you neeed something to bring it up to 8.2 anyway- either an additive of Kalk.

I'v been using Kent Marines Tech CB for months on end and I'm more than satisfied.Though some may disagree.Also look into B-ionic's buffer.It's great stuff and often I'm tempted to switch but if it is not broke then why fix it???
