PH Low on cycle

Hi. I am currently cycling my 90 Gal with 30lbs cured LR, 75lbs +/- base rock, and 40 arognite (40 lbs Ls in the mail) I am cycling with shrimp method.. about 2-3 days in, the ammonia is about .75-1 but the PH has been right at about 8 with the API test kit. Should I worry about the PH now with only the cycle going on? or should I address it now, and how?

The API pH test kit is worthless so ignore the reading. Test kh and calcium to get an idea of where pH is or get a Salifert pH test kit not that I have used the Salifert pH kit but it is more likely to give a good read. If you really want to know the pH get a pH controller it would be a good investment for future control...
