PH Placement and Water Flow

I have a 65 gallon tank, currently FOWLR, that I want to begin turning into a reef tank. I've had my PHs (2 Koralia 1s) on the back glass, each side top...pointed towards the center of front glass. Most of the pictures that I have seen on this site show the PHs on the on the side glass pointed in different directions. Any suggestions on the best, or ideal way would be helpful. Also, what is the ideal flow for a reef tank? Thanks
PS: Pictures showing the configuration in your tanks would be great too!

I currently have a 46 gallon reef, I have 1 Korallia #2 on the side pointing at the water surface and a Korallia nano on the other side pointing at the back to hit any dead spots.
