I have a 75 gal reef with a sump and a pump that pumps 1500 gph. I have recently stopped dripping limewater and started using reef advantage calcium, reef builder, and marine buffer. My numbers look like this: Alk:10 dKH, Cal: 360ppm, salinity: 1.025. The problem is that my ph is staying around 7.7. After I add the marine buffer the ph will go up above 8 but it only stays for about a day. Should I just go back to dripping kalk? Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

I agree with Dogstar, here.
You can test to see if it is oxygen that's causing your low pH by putting tank water in a bowl, aerating it for 2 hours (with an air stone or powerhead) and testing the pH in that bowl. If it is higher than 7.8, than your tank is not getting enough oxygen either.

Try Kent Marine products - Turbo Calcium and SuperdKH buffer. Pre mix salt water with your mix but add about 1 tblspn of each, mix for 24 hrs, test, if ph calc & alk are where ya want it great if not keep adding until your new 5 gallons of mix are right where ya want them. Then every time ya do a water change you can mix the same! This works for me!

I agree, and that's a nice test for oxygenation..try your best to control the PH by finding the natural cause and curing it naturally. Additives can put you on a yo-yo cycle that'll make you crazy.
