i made my own rock using portland cement and argonite sand cured it in freshwater for 2 months and now its in saltwater with a few pc.s of LR to seed it. just checked ph and its 8.5 to 8.6 . for the heck of it i checked my DT and the ph is low 7.7 to 7.8 should i add the rock to the DT or not?

I see no harm in adding the rock.
However; if the rock causes your PH to stabilize it may be a long time before you can determine the cause of your low PH.
Check Alkalinity
Check skimmer
Check powerheads
Check any mechanical filters
Check for a buildup of detritus
Try to figure out why you PH is low, fix it, and then add the rock.

Well, I don't know how often you check the pH in yout DT, but if you mixed up fresh saltwater to soak your homemade rock, there's certainly not much in the tub to change the fresh mix, whereas there's a ton of chemical reaction going on in the DT. If you are confident in the materials you used, and have let it cure for over six weeks (assuming that you soaked it in freshwater, and changed the water frequently during curing) I wouldn't worry about it. If your really paranoid about it, mix some fresh saltwater, check it's pH, transfer your rock, and then monitor the level for a few days.

How much rock into what size tank? If it is cured then it's not going to hurt your livestock. If you're worried then only do one rock per week and test the effects.
