Ph question

What do you use to bring your ph up?? Mine is at 7.8 as of this morning, It has been at 8.2 for last two weeks (tank only been up for two weeks).here is other water parameters two weeks into cycle, ammonia-.25, nitrite 0, nitrate 10. I think in one more week I might be able to get some fish

There is a Ph,buffer that you can add to your tank,add one teaspoon for every 50 gallons,
check daily,only add when needed.

Well...seems ur tank is a new one...then do not mind the change of the ph ba....It will be stable later. And how's ur dKH? If ur dkh>7, then the PH may be more stable and better.

If you checked it early before the lights went on, It will be lower than when you check it at night. You ph drops at night after your lights go off and comes up gradually during the day. I would not buffer it until you see what the later afternoon reading is.

I agree. Don't worry until the cylce is over. The acididy of the ammonia will try to lower the ph. Keep you alk at the propper level and everything should stabilize once you are through the cycle.
