PH vs. HOB

I have a 0.75 g nano (The redsea thing) and I was thinking of taking out the HOB and using a PH instead. I was thinking of using the Mini-Jet 404 (I would prefer the Micro-Jet 320 but I think 34gph is a little too strong). The smallest setting on the 404 is 18gph and the HOB is 16gph (this can be reduced by the little flow control nob at the top. Any opinions on the benefits of one over the other? If you think I can get away with both then what about the Micro-Jet 320 instead of both?

I agree with Mark. The HOB will be better because of the evenly distributed flow and more surface disruption. By the way, did you get your water fixed? I picked up some blue-center zoo's the other day at the Ocean Floor, and was thinkin about fragging them if you're interested. Still got the star polyps too.
