hey, what should the ph levels be at the guy at the lfs said that they should be between 7.4 and 8.2 is this right? and how can i get it to go up?

I like to keep my Ph about 8.3, 8.0 is the lowest I would let mine go. If you keep your Ph up it helps keep Alk. and Ca at the appropriate levels too.
