I'm getting it delivered today, just want to know what's the best way to hook it up? Can I hook it directly from my return pump and link it into my closed loop system? Any advice plz???Thanks!

I suppose you could, but you want the flow rate to be pretty slow going through the unit. If it's too fast you're just going to grind up whatever media you put in it.

it comes with a ball valve to adjust the water pressure going thru. You can take a power head and tubing and connect it and throttle down the water so you get a boiling action on the top of the surface.

Cool! Just got it in the mail. Probably going to let it hang off my sump using a powerhead to feed it and run another hose to return the water back into the sump.

That's pretty much how mine is hooked up. I'm using a minijet powerhead and just regular vinyl tubing.
