Phosban

I had some high readings of Phosphate over time and as I posted in a another thread ( https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/389589/the-upgrade-has-started ) upgraded my entire filtration system with the eye on my final large upgrade to a 500Gl DT.
Anyway with the changes I added a small Phosphate reactor with 500ml PhosBan.
Before I started this my Phosphate levels as tested with HannaCheckers were 0.31ppm (Tested from DT)
Now after 2 days this it has dropped allready to 0.22 but still very high though.
I thought to try and check the actual water leaving the reactor which I presumed should be close to 0 right?
To my surprise this tested at 0.18?
Is this normal due to the high level going in or is there too much flow or what if anything is wrong?

It all takes time, my phosban reactor works great but it can't get rid of all the phosphate because I am constantly reintroducing it into the tank...via my frozen food. I have Seahorses and they are very messy. However even with them my PO4 has gone down to 0.05 So just hang in there and keep your Phosban running and rinse your frozen foods in RO water. The beads in the reactor should just hardly dance on the surface in the reactor.
By the way anything under 1.0 is pretty good...0 is perfect but how many PERFECT tanks can you find?

am not too sure about the source of my Phosphates as I make my own frozen food with all kind of fresh ingredient so doubt that would be the source. Anyway since I started with the RowaPhos it went down allot already so guess will leave this batch for a while longer and replace it with a new batch in a few days maybe until more improvement is made.
