phosphate remover

I would like to use phosphate remover in a filter bag.My outside power filter is to small to put the bag inside can i put the bag in my red sea prizm skimmer? <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />
also im using kent marine phosphate sponge how much would i use for a 35 gallon tank

I use the cut-your-own filter media from HBH.
Its just a flat 1/4inch pad that you cut to size would that work for you?

i really don't think that will work too good in a skimmer. why not buy a small aquaclear hang on filter for the remover? they're pretty cheap, and do a great job.

I have used phosphate remover by simply hanging it in my tank in front of a power head in a filter bag. worked fine. Just make sure to watch how long you leave it in the tank-- it will release all the stuff it absorbed if you leave it in too long.
