Taken from Admin's thread on the contest:
"They must be original photographs, taken by you. Absolutely no poaching from the internet, please..."
You've got to remember, these photos are going to be used by SWF. They don't want some other site's photos.

I don't particularly buy it, but either way if you are given permission to use someone else's photo you must give credit to the owner of the photo and do not claim it as your own, especially when money is involved. Be sure the person you ask permission from is the owner of the photo and not somebody else that stole it from them.
This goes for anything and not just for this photo contest.

i dont but it either. I would NEVER let someone use my photographs to enter a contest. I would tell them to kick rocks and to shoot their own.

regardless. im not buying it. You posted in the photo contest... "My wifes Archilles Tang-Taken with her permission" "MY blue linkia star" and so on. Just fess up, say you did it and take blame for your actions. No need to cover up one lie with another. But hey thats just my .02 cents anyway.

Yeah, I lied and said they were mine. But I got them from a guy that said I could use them.

thats a step in the right direction. So now if thats the case then I guess things happen. BUT you should read the contest rules and of coarse should not have taken credit for photos that werent yours. Oh well.

Personally, I would like to know who the THE GUY is. I followed up and the pictures are not from the same photographer.

cant beleive im gonna say this BUT I agree with Zanclus. He cheated, he got caught, they pulled him from the contest (Obviously)....its over and done with.
