Canon G5...auto settings...no flash....trying to get a decent close up of one of the hermits.

Minolta Dimage F300: tripod, manual focus, manual exposure, no flash.
Pic was taken with only actinics and white-balance adjusted to show the colors more as I see them.
This is my new true Acropora echinata. Imports of this species are regulated, and only aquacultureds are allowed.

BTW, nice tradition to start with these photos of the days. I didn't notice the one from yesterday.

Wow, thanks! I think he is awesome, especially when he puts his top fin up but I haven't gotten to opportunity to capture that on camera yet!
On a side note I purchased the scooter thinking it was a blenny and would eat algae, when I brought him home I read up on them and was afraid he would die in my tank. He has been here for 5 months and he has taken to eatting frozen mysis shrimp, maybe that is way he has more color.....

150 watt DE MH 10kk + 2x65 watt PC. The pic was taken under just 1x65 watt PC actinic.
