What am I doing wrong here...?
Can't seem to get the "blue" out...
Same tank, same lighting...Tried with actinics on, actinics off...
I just forgot what my settings were when I took the well lit one..
Been playing with, exposure, white balance, flash just turns everything green...???
What am I missing??
Is my camera getting old...? (am I getting old...?) can a card wear out??

I really like your tank. Also in your top left corner I see you have coral pugs on that plastic ledge. Do you just wait for the corals to grow alot then take clippings once in a while or do you disatach them from the plug when their as long as you want

Actually, I'm quite "heavy handed" and it seems every time I move or add a piece...I..ummm...frag a few off the locals...so I plug them let them grow out a bit and trade them in for something new....

If you have a photo program that you can adjust brightness, color balance, contrast ect. with, that can often help.
I think your last shot there looks good but I played with it some with my program and I dont know if you think its better but this is different.
I took some of the blue out and lightened it some.

I am not a camera expert, but I just wanted to say that your tank is amazing nice Squidd. If you don't mind, can I ask you if there are any other fish in there besides the butterfly, 2 PJs, and 2 clowns?

Looks a little better, still not "life like" but better than what I've been printing...
I don't believe I did photoshop or anything on the first one though...and I've taken a couple really neat "close ups" that look real (awhile back) and lately they have been hard to recognise...
Maybe I should write down my settings "if" I ever get another nice one...

There's a diadema in there too, but he hangs in the rocks and is hard to photo...
