I dont really know alot about Photo Shop ( ok, nothing exept you can edit your pictures...). I was curious about how you download it, do you have to buy a disc or download it from the computer. I would like to try it on some of my pictures and stuff.
Thanks

i have the full unlimited license CS3 suite disc at work.... if i owned it i would be glad to have you use it. You can get a trial version. I dont have it on my PC at home though. it probably cant even run photoshop. When i get Mac of my own i will finally have it at home.
Instead of buying the whole suite, try getting just photoshop.

downloading it and "trying it" would be fun but unless you read a lot of tutorials and books you will be lost. doing simple things like resizing is pretty easy but anything else you have to read about

Photoshop isn't very difficult to use. I use it all the time and its a great program!! You will feel lost at first, but read a little and just play around with it. You are supposed to purchase the program either online or at a store, but there are other ways of getting PhotoShop ilegally. Not that I am saying you should do that, but it is possible.

Photoshop is an awesome program. I use it for editing pictures and making websites. A little pricey, but worth it. You can get at Staples or any other office/computer store. There is also a free trial at http://www.adobe.com

I would recommend looking into Photoshop Elements. It is a stripped down version of the original. It is geared more toward the home user who just wants to play with some of their photos. Sounds to me like that would be a better fit for you. I am a graphic designer and I use most of the features of Photoshop on a regular basis. But there are soooooooo many of those filters and features that the everyday user will never use. I think you can get Photoshop Elements for like $100.
