Ok, well, it only took me over an hour to figure out how to re-size this photo of my daughters horse (didn't want to embarress my fish) I discovered I had Adobe Photo Deluxe on my computer, duh :p
I got it down to 101,400 pixels and then had to get it formatted for JPEG to send. Now be kind, all of you know how to do this and are obviously wizards at it, I'm a little computer handicapped.
But it's all grainy, what do I do next to fix that.

Thanks Lisa, he's very cute. His name is "Spike" he's a 4 year old thoroughbred, about 17.1 hands (doesn't look that big in photo, but he's really tall). My daughter does hunter/jumpers, so that's his training. He's kind of for sale for the right $$.
Anyhow, I hope Ryebread does jump in here, or anyone else, and help me out.

Hey there-
The problem that you are having with the photos looking goofy is not with the resolution.......either the photos are being scanned in or they are being goofed up somewhere in the software.
Are these from a digital camera or are they scanned photos?

Ryebread, their from a digital camera. When I first put them in the like fine/normal, after I re-size them they get those goofy lines in them.
And Spike is a "muddy puddle" type of guy :)

When you reformat to jpeg, the file size is almost cut in half. Your pics are way below the limit, and you could go with larger files.....getting them to size, and THEN reformatting is giving you a very small file size.
