I love photographing fish - any kind and I have searched, and searched and did I mention that I searched but cannot ID these beauties:

seeing how this is already answered I just thought I would say those are great pictures the first ones focus is so dead on it looks fake! but those are great pics again!

that poor yellow tang is emaciated (third picture) he is in need of a serious diet boost, vitamins and veggies in a big way.

I think that 3rd picture of the "tang" is actually a picture of a false tang, I forget the the scientific name is... I saw one recently in a tank with a tang and it looked just like that

There is no false tang.
Possibly you are thinking of a mimic tang. And they are tangs that mimic a yellow angel and are tangs, but that is not a mimic it is a yellow tang.

Thank you so much guys and dolls! I was getting brain fried searching!

I've often found that photographing our sea faring friends are much like photographing people - don't move darn it!

Also, is there a forum (I've not fully looked in each nook and cranny) to post/share photographs? If so, directions would be greatly appreciated. Normally, we women do stop to ask for directions!

Yes, Canon is correct. I use as a backup/toss in the car EOS Rebel but shoot mainly with my 5D. I love it!
