Phytoplankton question

Does anyone know if live phytoplankton contain any nitrite, nitrate, phosphate............

live pyto does produce waist like anything else alive so depends on how much and how clean the waters is kept, Most the stuff you buy in a bottle and keep in the fridge is dead, will have some but keeping it cooled helps to slow the decay.....feeding the tank dead phyto only helps if you have something that eats it.....other wise it decays...

Is there a different between freshwater pyto and saltwater pyto?

phytoplankton is tiny aquatic drifting organisms. not many freshwater ones can live in saltwater or V.V.
