How do you put pics on a thread?

At the screen where you type the message, look for the "Attach File" area, then click browse. That should bring you to your picture file.

You need to resize before you add a pic. Here is the easieat way I know. Go to the start menu, then to programs, then accessories, then paint. Go to the file tab, open the file where your pic is at (you should be able to see it on the screen now). Click on image tab and then click stretch/skew.... then make the h and v 30, each. Save that "new" pic and then use that to post. That was suggested to me, and I will pass it on. It works, and is simple----its a program that comes with the puter too. HTH

How does one put a picture into GIF or JPG format?

You have to export it in that format. I use Adobe Photoshop to do EVERYTHING.

TimO - how too convert Gif to Jpeg, or reverse.
1. Go too ms paint or whatever image prog you use.
2. Open your picture.
3. Go too save as
4. Where it says File Name, below it should be "file type"
5. Click the drop box then schoose whatever file type you want ti too be.
6. Save it

Use a program like Paint Shop pro or Adobe. Bring the photo in. Resize it and save it as a jpg file. I resize mine usually to 8" by 5" - mabe smaller, for this site.
