hey i am actually looking for a Grade A Picasso, or a Snowflake clown to pair up with my picasso. anyone know of a good place to get one? I found a so called grade A, but i was told that he isn't one. I am desperately seeking one due to the fact that one of my picasso's died. If anyone knows of a place or a member that is selling/breeding please let me know!! Thanks!

yeah a few do, but they all want their cut.
Unfortunately that is true. All online sites ask $350-400 for a pair of juvi Picasso's, that's how I got my first pair of which the mate died in 48 hours. Second set I got from my trusted LFS for whom ORA handpicked the most extreme pair of Grade A's... bad luck with them again, the other mate became a carpet surfer. I then paired the widows together and they are in my nano doing well (and under cover).

would love to see a pic! have they shown signs of mating?
I'll get pictures tomorrow. They are both still babies in that sense, but they are constantly side by side, so the larger (original) is the female and the other male. When I received the second set, they were very pale orange in color with incredible white markings (extreme as ORA stated). Now after having him for almost 2 months and feeding a varied diet, he is getting close to the female in coloration. It's amazing how much the diet affects the coloration of the fish.

Premilove, you do realize that if snowflakes or picassos mate, that does not mean you will have picasso or snowflake fry. It just increases the odds, someone correct me if I am wrong.
