Please help !!!! I'm new to saltwater and this message board
I've started a 30gal tank about 2-weeks ago w/ LR and LS
I'm looking for suggestions on what type of coral to start off with.
I've got 2 power heads in the tank with a hang on wet/dry filter
w/built in protein skimmer.Any ideas would be great:thinking:

What kind of lighting do you have over the tank? Also, it is smart to let the tank mature for a month or three before adding any corals to allow the nutrient content of the water column to grow.

I have 2x36W pc's over some Frogspawn, 'Shrooms, and polyps, many other people have the same ones as well as others. Maybe someone else will help you with a list of softies you can add to that setup.

First, let your tank finish off its cycle before adding anthing.
the easist coral to start with would be some mushrooms... they'll stand up to almost anything. use the mushrooms to hone your skills, then go from there. dont forget, every coral likes a different amounts of water flow.
