pickle bucket

hope this is not to dumb of a question. i need to do a about a 60 gal water change I got some pickle buckets from a hamburger joint in town, I took them to work used the hotsy them out then took a towel with bleach on it and wiped it on the inside then hosed them out again . they still smell like pickles do u think its ok to mix salt and let stand for a couple days so can do water change thanks

fill them with FW for a week dump repeate. I used to use an old pickle bucket thats what I did after soaking in FW for a couple weeks the smell went away.

I agree with the freshwater rinses, I would just add double the amount of dechlorinator though, to help get the bleach and vinegar out.
