Well after a lot of work and creative building, my canopy and stand are done. Well I guess I do still need to put a top on my canopy to help keep the light from coming out the top. Everything was build by me with the exception of the cabinet doors on the front. Tank is 8ft long but it's hard to tell from the pic.

That thing is really slick........uh.....slick.
Very impressive workmanship on the stand and canopy. Did you get the doors from Home Depot? We have been building quite a few stands and canopies lately at work and we can't fathom building the doors at the price they are offered finished.
Nice Job..........I can't wait to see that thing with some livestock in it.

Thanks for all the kind words. Ryan, I bought the doors at Menards. It's like a home depot type store. They measure apx 13x25. I got them unfinished for like $30.
Plans for this tank right now, well I think I'm just going to mkae it a fowlr. As you can tell from the pic there isn't a whole lot of lr in it. A few reasons for that, one I don't have the money it would take to fill it up all at once. And second, my last tank was pretty packed with rock so I'm going to see how I like the amount of rock in there now. I'm sure I will add rock as in matures.
