Hello Everyone,
I would first like to say HELLO to all and to say I am fairly new to this hobby and rather learn before I go, it's more of a learn as i go process. Alot of folks I have come to know in this hobby tend to be very careless and simply have a general knowledge and add this because they were told too or buy this because it would help but I want to be more than avergae and be able to learn as much as I can on here and take in all I can learn. Now I would like to show some pictures of my 46g bowfront setup.
Fish: Percula, blue tang, royal gramma, mandarin, and bicolor angel.
Anemone: Monstrous BTA and not to sure but I think it's an LTA... AND YES I have come to learn one should only have 1 species of anemone in a tank but thus far these 2 have not clashed to damage one another. An yes I also know that the anemone is HUGE for my tank but I love him and he is doing quite well.
I hope I can learn quite a bit and what truly got me into this hobby is the fact my primary hobby is car tuning and that is getting VERY pricey and also my son is now 7 months old and the movie that can tame him and keep his attention full time is Finding Nemo..go figure..so my wife pretty much convinced me to get the tank setup and I am happy she did. This hobby is addiciting and adding and maintaining seems to be awesome to me. Thanks again for viewing and please FLAMES
and ADVICE
is very welcome...
I have included some pics of my setup to view and opionate of course. Thanks for viewing ladies and gents.

nice tank! im sure you'll learn a BUNCH from this site like i did. everything looks good but i don't know if keeping that hippo tang in that small of a tank is ok.... but i'm not 100% sure. wait till the tang people come and check out your pics before you listen to me. but besides that.... great job! what type of lights are you running?
p.s
nice bta! looks a bit bleached but he's HUGE.

nice pics :) My BTA looked the same when I first got it, but then it was sucked by the powerhead and almost shredded
I lost 3/4 part of it, but i kept it anyways to see if it could be saved. The good news is that it never stop eating and i kept feeding it every 2-3 days and now it's growing again :)
BTW, I would be a little concerned because yours is too white. It should have a kind of brown-green color to be healthy (like the one you are asking about). That represents that it has zooxanthellae (algae that feeds the anemone). Is it receiving a good amount of light were it is? what kind of lights do you have?
If you don't see any shrinking on it in the following weeks it should be ok. if you see it's shrinking try to feed it with some krill (1 piece of less than an inch) weekly and see how it goes.
