Here is 4 pics of my 55 . Not the best quality but im getting little better.
Tank is aprox. 2 yrs old. Slowly but surely its comming together. Still need
bout 20 lbs more rock ,and little more for my reef, need another tang, my yellow died last month. what kind would you sugest, will a blue hippo do ok.
let me no what you think good or bad. and any sugg. would be o.k. as well.

I like it, like the aquascaping and how purple the rocks are. A regal/hippo would eventually get too big for a 55, but if you got a small enough one, it may be good for several years.

Tangs always do better when they are in a larger tank that has 6 feet of swimming space, but I know that they seem quite capable in something that is 4 feet long. The juvi's would be fine in there, but I would be hesitant to get one if you have no plans to upgrade to something larger here soon. Tangs are highly active and swim a lot each day, so the longer the tank the better. Good luck by the way, just really watch your tang if you do decide to get another one as they can become quite stressed if they are cramped and this is never something good with a fish that is so prone to disease. Be careful and keep asking questions, its better to learn the easy way (and cheap way!)...

If your tank has a lid i really like fairy wrasses, they are colorful, peaceful, hardy and active.
