Nice new corals. You might want to consider moving the suncoral out more so it is easier to feed. Did you try using cyclopeeze to get it to open?

Thanks surfinusa. I appreciate it!!
No I dont have any cyclopeeze no lfs has any around here.
What all have u fed you sun coral? I just moved it to that spot so it would get less light to see how it would do, but since im gonna re do my rocks ill have to find another spot for it.

I like the tank. The pics would turn out better if you clean the inside and out requarly. I would also use the manual mode on your camera.

lol. You mean you lost it in the tank? Yea, my tank looks bad cause of stupid diatoms.. RODI water isnt working either.

Same here. I think my fired took it home for his tank. How long has your tank been set up? Mine has been now about 5 months and never had diatoms during the cycle, but now they are blooming bad and I cant get rid of them. and I also use RO water

I think cyclopeeze would be your best bet for getting the sun coral to open. You can also try crushed up flake food or frozen mysis or brine shrimp.

put a soda bottle (upper half) over it to isolate it(the sun corakl), use a turkey baster or something else to put a small amount of food to stimulate it to open up then once open feed it well so all polops gets some, cyclobreeze, mysid, invert food that is in the larger micron size
nice pieces post some pics of the zoos opened up

If you order it offline you should get the freeze dried kind, I tried to order the frozen kind and the shipping was more than the food. Although one downside with the freeze dried version is that it tends to float.
