Pics of new Zoo polyps/Mushroom polyps??

Does anyone have a pic of a zoo polyp or mushroom polyp that just formed? I have what appears to be a Zoo polyp that just formed in my tank, but it was on the otherside of the tank from what would be the parent colony. It's about 1/16" all around attached to a piece of sand. It looks a lot like a mini unopened Zoo polyp. The reason I was wondering about a mushroom polyp is because I hada mushroom that broke away from the area where I found the zoo a couple weeks ago. if anyone hs a pic I'd be grateful too see it.

I don't have a photo for you, but a newly formed zoo polyp looks just like you think it does- it's a round ball of tissue when forming, but when it's developed its mouth it looks like a miniature version of the parent. If it's split from the parent, it will be developed already. If you found the thing you have on some rock, it could be a sponge that hitchhiked- that's pretty common, and I have a lot of them in my tank. Otherwise, it could be your lost mushroom or a piece of it that somehow got cut off and landed in the sand- I'd be skeptical about that though. Let us know if/when it opens- hopefully you've got a new zoo colony that will reproduce for you.

If I didn't find it on the opposite side of the tank (granted it is a small tank) I would be certain it's a zoo. If my tank was still by my computer I'd snap a pic w/ my web cam. My luck, I move the tank out of the range of my webcam THEN I discover it. grrrrrr...I better be getting that digi cam for my B'day. I'll see if I can get a USB extention cord (do they even exist?) to snap a pic tonight. Like always it wont be a good pic...but it'd be nice to have.

So far it lacks any coloration at all except for a brown top. It's pretty cool. It was weird seeing it on the opposite side of the tank though. :notsure: Oh well. I moved it over to the group of zoos w/ a dab of glue. So far so good.

I am not sure, all of my little zoos so far were already on the lr when I got it, but they all have all of their color. My zoos are just brown so .........my little yellow polyp that is almost ready to open is already yellow, it just started out as a lil bump and now its prob. the same size as a regular candle wick, in diameter, but it is still only maybe 4 millimeters tall..........:jumping:

I was looking at "my baby" today and I guess it has some "color" to it. I'm still running the 7200K bulb the unit came with so colors aren't that defined. It's just a couple spots right now, but then it's maybe 2mm across when open. When I get my 13W 50/50 for it I'll be able to tell better.
