Awesome - many thanks for posting! A couple of the jellyfish shots are pro-level photos.
Gotta love all the cold-water anemones, too.

I'm using a Canon 30D and I believe most of the shots were with my 70-200mm 2.8L lens. The telephoto was a challenge while the aquarium was busy since I had to stand back about 6ft from the tank think I have a couple of hands and fingers in these shots somewhere.
Thanks all for the compliments

Looks cool, I'll have to check it out sometime.
But, you gave me an idea. I'm taking one of my nephews to Henry Doorly Zoo here in Omaha. If I find some cool stuff in the Aquarium part, I will take some picks.

the pics are super! the aquarium not so much.
I definently agree the aquarium was so so, the one in Denver was much nicer. They had several corals that were in not so good shape and the sponge tank was horrible the sponges were mostly dead or decaying. All of the reef tanks were pretty much the same livestock laid out in a different setup so not much variety.

Thank you for sharing. Those pics are grade A!! Very clear, and upfront.

I love pics of professional aquariums. Glad to see that even professional aquariums have some problems.....hair algae. Puts everything in perspective, that no matter how we try, our tanks do things that we perceive as bad, but not really. Its actually a fact of enclosed systems, trying to keep it spotless is really hard work.
Thanks again, I really enjoyed seeing them.
