I have a pic that i want to put on here but it is too big, too many mega bytes. How do i make it a smaller attachment,

Your picture is too many MEGA bytes? I don't think you could ever bring it down enough if you really are talking megabytes. If it's kilobytes it's quite simple if you have an image editor such as photoshop or paint shop. You just open the image, resize it a bit smaller.....OR you can open it, then choose save as and save it as a lower quality...Both ways will work.

Check to see if your picture is in a .bmp format. That is the largest memory hog format. Reformat the picture to a jpeg. Much smaller and still fine for this use. A simple image editor will work. I like irfanview. Free and does a great job. You can get it a www.irfanview.com
