It's been awhile since I posted any recent pics.
Well it's official now.
I have not added one new thing to my tank in over a year.
Lost a few hermits/snails ... other than that all is cool.
Everyone is doing pretty good.
This 75 tank will be two years old next month.

Awesome, broomer! :D
I'm wondering since you and I have about the same size tank, where did you fix your MHs? All the room I have in my canopy is for my 4 4' 110 watt VHOs. You probably have a 24" wide tank, right?

What are the corals growing like "rugs" on the right bottom and top? They really look beautiful!

Thanks you guys !
Beth - my 75 is 18" front to back.
I've got 2 VHO actinics running under the MH, and another set of VHO running above.
I'll see if I can find a pic showing them installed. It's weird - but works for now.
The "rug" type corals I think are some sort of daisy polyp, Clavularia. Three differenty types hitched in on some live rock.
I like it too - but it's starting to get a little out of hand.
Going to have to prune it back or I'm afraid it may choke out the entire tank someday.
Here's a few more pics of the stuff.

Yes, the "shag rug" :D coral I thought was Clavularia. Mine are not doing so well, for some reason. I think they need just the right current blowing over them. Not too strong, but a gentle steady.
I'd appreciate a pic of the lighting. Thanks.

WOW, picture 1 and 5 are beauts!! Your tank is fantastic.
One whole year huh? Thats amazing, don't you get the urge?
We just bought a whole new tank to set up at xmas time because of this addiction. :D ;)

Thanks everyone !
Kip - I don't run all the lights at the same time all day.
I've got the VHO actinics on timers, as well as the daylight VHO and two MH lamps.
The tankwater has never risen above 82 F
I've also got (2) 4" Ice Cap fans installed in the roof of the canopy.
Evaporation for sure plays a large part in keeping the temperature from getting too hot in there ;)
About 1 to 1-1/2 gallons of top off every day.
lovethesea - Yes I do get the urge to add more to the tank, but somehow I've managed to keep things as is for the last 12+ months. I've come to the conclusion that I can't have it all - so I keep what I have for now.
Plus I'm saving up for a big tank next year :D
