There actually have been a few pics of hobbyists with their probe being held. For some reason they were deleted. I guess there may have been a link involved. As to were to get the best holders for ones probe

In trying to get some pictures of probe holders I have run into a so to speak dead end. However some of the information available does show that for the most part the probe holders available are normally larger that the probe being held. Any first HAND experience here Joe?

My shipment of square acrylics rods will be here on Monday according you UPS.... I'll be making probe holders. I'm setting up my Reefkeeper elite module and they need a purdy little rack to hang on.
I'll take pictures.... of course :)

Isn’t that always the case
Any first HAND experience here Joe?
Actually as the old saying goes “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush”. I would think one needs to be happy with any holder

You can drill the hole bigger than the probe through the top (of the acrylic in my case) and then put a screw through the front to pin it in there.
You can make the hole similiar in size and put an tight black "O" ring around the body and that will stop it at slipping through. Grommets aren't stretchy enough I find... harder to work with if you can't find the exact size.
There's an open front type too... but I can't really explain that one... easy to understand when seen and you seen the idea before, I'm sure.

Yup I suppose you are correct sire. As long as ones probe is being held, it doesn't get any better than that!!!
