Picture of my 6 gal. nano

I've never posted a picture of my nano so here it is. I currently have a hammer coral, xenia, different kinds of green polyps, a ricordia polyp, a shroom, 2 feather dusters, an orange starfish, a brittle star, 3 hermit crabs and a coral banded shrimp. I would like to get a couple more small corals sometime soon.

looks nice. i would raise the water level up a lil but it looks good. how long have you had it setup?

Thanks!:) The reason I have the water a little lower is because it flows out from the top and with the water lower, there is more of a current going into the water. It actually flows pretty hard to the bottom. If I had it filled up to the top, it would slowly just mix in with the water not creating much movement. Does that make any sense? More movement the better IMO.

Nice looking Nano there
It's only a 6 gallon, you'll have plenty of water movement... filler up. :D

Hello, I was curious what Lights you put in the Eclipse 6? I used 2 13W combo bulbs. They seem to work fine but I a little worried to try corals in it just yet. Also you said you leave your water level low for water movement, I use a small power head, Rio 50, it circulates 40-60 GPH and it only cost around 12$ on ----, so thats a thought for water movement! Good luck and it looks great!

LOL...LOL...LOL
Every time i ask for help he usally says something totally off subject and he has a problem giving good advice.

Bret61081- sorry, I've haven't seen your post til now. I also have 26 watts. Though I have one 10,000k white and the other is actinics. I've read 3-5 watts per gallon and that would put us at just over 4. My corals are doing wonderful. My xenia is growing and spreading like crazy. My hammer coral seems to be enjoying it as well. The zoos, shrooms and polyps are perfect. I do also have the 50 rio powerhead. It was really hard for me to position it because the corals are spread throughout the tank and something was constantly getting to much current. I think now I have it set right. I am thinking of some way to add more light but I think with such a small tank, I'm stuck with what I have, which seems to be working fine for what I currently have in the tank.
