Picture Problems

I have tried everything and I still can't get my pictures to post. I have reduced their file size to 50K, so I know it is not a file size issue. Can someone help???? I want to share my sailfin and puffer pictures with everyone.

Are the pictures under 500x500 pixels?

They are and it still won't show. Let me ask this. When I preview post, should they show then? If not then that might be my problem.
