looks like it is bleached what kind of lights do you have on your tank and how long have you had it.

I have had it for two years it has been under the same light the whole time the nova extream 4 65w lamps 2 daylight and two of the blue ones (cant spell the name they are called off the top of my head) need spell check here

or is it darker than what the picture shows?

i feed it a small shimp or half a sea scalop once every three weeks. Its a little darker than what is shown in the photo.

its not bleached its cream colored, bleached it would be a clear (see though) white color
