I was going through my kept pictures on the site...some are of my 90g back when I had a beautiful reef (pre-broken heater days) I lost all those pictures when my computer crashed and nothing was backed up....Anybody have an idea how I could copy the pics from the site onto my new computer (that I now back up regularly). It's great to be able to go back and see those pictures and I would like to have them. I was so happy to see them saved on the site, they were way back there on the last pages...I never realized how many pictures I have up loaded.

Just bring your SWF photo album up, right click on it, then click "save as" and send it to a file. I just tried it with mine and it worked. You have to repeat these steps for each picture so it'll take while because you have so many (lol) but at least you'll have them back on your computer. Unless somebody else knows a faster way which is very likely cause I don't know much about computers. I still use the 2 finger tap approach to type.

When you go to your profile, just click on the photo file you want brought up.

Hi,

Sad bump in the road...the SW fish ability to hold onto all those photos are recent. The older ones can be posted from the "more" section, but they don't appear in the profile section. I sent you the pictures that I wanted on a PM...can you copy - paste, or maybe attach those photos and e-mail them to me?

Its easy to do. Go to the picture you want. Put your cursor on the picture. Right click. When the menu pops up, choose SAVE AS. You'll get popup to save as. You choose the directory on your pc that you want the pic, you name the pic. Then press enter.

Also, you probably could have saved whatever was on your hard drive unless the hard drive itself went completely dead. Myself, I use a large USB thumb drive and back up to that.

The pictures I want are old ones, they are still saved on the site but not in the album...I did find a way...but it will take a while to do each one. My computer completely puked, I couldn't get it to even load. The pictures were on 2 computers back....I have had the Potbelly and 56g for 2 years, and the pics I want was before the heater broke, and killed all my coral. I think I had the reef tank a good two years after the broken heater before I went to the potbelly horses. so it's been a while.
