Nice pictures, but I have one question. How long have you had the clam? To me it looks like it is dying. It's mantle is really recessed into it's shell.

actually i just bought this clam about 2 days ago , sometimes opens all the way out but she was shy for the picture

i have to second richs statement of the clam...it is showing signs of gaping...what type of lighting do you have it under?
