i might be moving to a house with a pier and beam floor.does anyone live in a home with this floor?i want to put my 225 gallon and 90 gallon there.
will this floor take the weight.my tank stand bottom is flat across the whole bottom.so weight will be distributed across the whole 6 feet.
i just have never been in a pier and beam home with a big tank.

Unless you are in a house built on a concrete slab, all houses are some version of pier and beam...

You have foundation walls and pillars, and then beams (sometimes steel, sometimes wood), then the flooring. If the house is built to code, everything should be fine. When dealing with larger tanks there is obviously more weight, so you should try to stay along a support beam area and/or reinforce the area where the tank will be.
