pimple on my false perc

I've had my false percs for about 2 weeks now. A couple days ago my smaller one developped what looks like a white "pimple" below it's right eye near the mouth. Now it seems like there's a second "pimple" close by. Is this marine ich ? How can I confirm and what should I do ?

trying to take a pic but it's not coming out well.... will continue trying. it's almost close to 1 mm and the second one is a little smaller.

I have another false perc and a yellow tang .... then a bunch of inverts

, but what are your waters paremeters? Is it eating well? Can you descibe it as best as you can? What are you feeding it?

My clowns started with the EXACT same thing.. They dieda week later, happened Very rapidly.. I have no clue what it was/is, though..

My water specs are all ok. temp at 78, pH at 8.3, sg at 1.0235. It eats really well, I feed it a little of everything frozen brine, plankton, mysis ... it even eats pods moving up and down my aquarium glass.
The actual "pimple" looks like a grain of table salt is stuck to it's face... and it's a little red all around. Then a second "pimple" appeared. And now the eye looks a little swollen. I spoke to someone at the lfs and he said to take the clown out and with a q-tip, to dab a little iodine right on the "pimple". I'll try it and keep you posted.

I know the pics above are a little blurry but you can kinda see one "pimple" a little to the left of the eye and another right below.

You should really post this in the fish disease/treatment section. Lots of helpful people with a lot of experience. Do you have a quarantine tank? It might be ich, hard to tell with the pics.

thanks subielover, didn't realize there was a forum dedicated to disease... just posted it. No i don't have a quarantine tank ... but this may teach me a lesson !!

... the iodine seems to be working ... wierd huh ? the spec is getting smaller and the eye doesn't seem as swollen ... I'm keeping my finhers crossed !!
