pineapple things growing??????

I have these white sacks around both power heads. They vary in size but they resemble a pineapple, Sorry for no pic, but if you think of the pineapple shape that's what they look like.

They are q-tip sponges. Mine come and go. Sorry I don't have a pic, but I am sure you can search here for one.

Yeah, Q-tip sponges. Harmless filter feeders. They've usually shown up early on in my tanks, but went away once the tanks started to mature.
