im starting to get a little upset here, my pictures have not been included in 1, 2, or 3 polls so far.
the first one was the CB BF poll, my thread had been here for weeks and was totally ignored, i posted 3 times on that poll and PM'd you , and no response at all. i felt like i had a solid chance to win that one.
now I am at work, and i can no longer see linked photobucket type photos, but the 2 new brain polls posted i am not in those either. there is some confusion because you at SWF use a lot of common names and not species names, but i believe i have posted a green closed maze brain, and bumped it recently JUST so it would not get overlooked like my CBBF did. now if that is not that same species then its not a big deal and it can wait till the correct poll.
which brings me to the third poll in question, the "Green Glass Goblet" poll. that animal shown says it is species Cynarina...
that is all incorrect, it is Acanthophyllia deshayesiana

and there is no difference in color among the species. i dont know if the one that is posted is even the same species.
so please include and my pictures in the appropriate polls and RESTART the voting so it is fair! thank you.

they have said several times that if you were overlooked to PM them. i dont belive that they check the posts.

Based on how they post the polls it appears that the use the search in this forum feature and use the name, exactly as listed on their site to search for entries. You're best bet is to cut and paste the name as listed on their site into the title of your thread, that way when they search for it they SHOULD find it.

i did almost word for word. there really is no reason why the posts were overlooked...

Well for example, on this page you have on named "goblet brain" however they have it lasted as Brain Coral - Glass Goblet so when they search the search engine will not pick up your thread. They aren't going to read through each page just to look for entries.

they should be able to search for goblet - some people are a lot worse than mine, with multi-picture / page postings , but anyway i found that mine is the "green goblet" on this site and the poll is about the "glass goblet" (hooray for made up common names) and the brain coral in question they seem to not carry...
however the CBBF thread is still a valid point.

I'm not sure how it SHOULD be, but based on the polls you can see how they actually search for the names. Just an example, the Glass Goblet, they searched for Glass Goblet, (you can tell by looking at the links in the poll threads).
I know I have missed some polls but generally it is because I did not type the name exactly the same way they had it.

Concerning you Copperband Butterfly picture. It appears they did a search copperband, so I since I am bored and have nothing better to do I did the same search and your post didn't come up. I found out you listed yours as copperbanded (notice the ed) BF and therefore it did not show up in the search.
Granted that seems like a silly little detail but for some reason the search engine doesn't search for parts or words and your thread go missed.
It is unfortunate but that is probably HOW it happened.

I had that problem too and i im them they responed the first time then the seconed time they never responded.

i am having a lot threads missed here, i think somebody doesnt like me or something. i have even got PMd from other users saying they see it and cant figure it out. sometimes its my fault because it was from older posts before we realized how everything went before they silently passed the "having to match exactly the item they are selling word for word because thats how they search" law. but some of mine are being skipped for no reason and late entries usually get burned on the initial votes...
