it looks alot like a green tipped pocilapora. either way, a birdsnest(Seriatopora) doesn't have polyps like that. not the ones i have seen anyway.
ultimately, if the coral turned from pink to the brown color i see in the pics, i would look at the lighting first.
then if that is good, the water parameters. then temperature....

well coral species aside, judging by your cyano haze in the back I would say nutrient rich water would be the culprit in "browning out", lots of SPS turn brown in nutrient rich water.

that cyano is just blooming in the last 3 weeks i started feeding frozen plankton 2 times a week could that be the case i think im gonna move him upstairs its a smaller tank only about 1 year old 36 gal with a sunpod 150 ill see what that does thanks again

Also check your ALK and make sure that you are good on that, when mine dropped my SPS started loosing color fast.

Lights, flow and nutrients all could be the reason. Nutrients could be from the frozen plankton. If there was enough flow, the cyano wouldnt be able to stay on the rocks.
also, id watch out how close those stinging tentacles get to it, as you might not have to worry much longer what color it is, as it will be WHITE

nitrite 0
nitrate 0
ammonia between 0 and .25

that pic is def a pink birdnest. light , nutrients and flucuations in temp and other parameters def can cause brownout.

all lights are ontimers and temp is always the same give or take a degree so only thing can be the nutrients but nothing else has lost color just the pink birdsnest i dont understand

lowe ph can but alk is usually the culprit more than ph because it is wat keeps the ph stable and could easily be the cause of your brownout

think were back to this on wat is causing ur brownout. and with the cyno i would lean to phosphates. a slightly high phosphate doesnt cause the death of many sps but does cause a slow brownout. how old is your tank and what kind of substrate do you have?
