Pink birdsnest Vs Emerald Crab

Does anyone else have any problems with their emerald crabs eating the flesh off of their sps? I just got a pink birdsnest and within 30 min of putting it in the tank, my largest emerald crab starting eating a little of the the flesh off the tips.
I may have to attempt to get this crab out of my tank.

Thats probably why I hear all crabs are bad. Sounds like that birds nest is going down unless you get the crab out.

Crabs are evil. Never know what they will do or go after. They are opportunistic feeders. That is the opinion I have developed about them anyway.

Maybe it's eating some of the dead tissue off the birds nest?

Thanks for the responses. I was hoping it would have been dead tissue it was picking off, but I doubt it. It has stressed the birdsnest out and it is bleaching now. I have a feeling it is a goner. I am trying to get this crab out, gonna have to go all snails.
