I have a pink sea Cucumber and someone told me that they do not live every long. We have had our almost a year and he seem great. Should we be expecting him to bite the big one?? Does anyone know the adverge life span for one??
Thanks guys!
Filter Feeder right? Most filter feeders unfortunately wither away slowly from starvation. Things like sea apples, crinoids, and flame scallops are good examples. However I'm pretty sure that pink cukes are smaller than sea apples, so they should require less food. Just make sure to feed him frequently and keep him safe from any powerheads. Any brightly colored cuke will nuke your tank once it dies. Since you've hit the 1 year mark you must be doing something right.
