Pink tail trigger

I just saw a trigger with a pink tail at my lfs. It was a beautiful specimen. I was wondering if these are some of the more docile triggers? Also could it go with a dwarf lion, sfeel, 2 percs, coral beauty?

yep, one of the most if not the docile trigger. very beautiful as they get bigger also. mine had ich for months and still rode it out, so i would say they're pretty hardy.

Yeah they are very docile, and I also have a blue jaw trigger with it, they don't bother each and sometimes stays together.......

If I got it it would be the biggest fish in the aquarium (110g 72 x18 x 18)
I right now have two percs (2-3") , coral beauty (same size), dwarf lion (3"), and a snowflake eel (6-8").
Would it be ok?

It will be ok...I have clowns, anthias, and smaller tangs than my pinktail, he doesn't bother anyone....He just go cazy when is feeding time....PT and the Blue Jaw are the ones that eat the most.....Crazy eaters..

The pink tail is about 4" now how would it be in there with the snowflake eel as the sfe grows (it's pretty small right now)?

Well, I went and got the pink tail at my lfs this morning! After acclimating him and putting him in he hid for about 20 minutes. Then he came out and started to throw his weight around!

So I did what was the responsible thing and took him back to the lfs.

Really....woww....But you did the good thing of return it. You never know, Pink Tails can be docile, but you never know the mentality that a trigger can have. They may be the friendliest, wussy fish when you add them, but one day they will just snap. Triggers will always be Triggers, no matter the size, or how much people say it's the most docile trigger.....

Let's see (everything).
coral beauty
2 percs

Nothing ever bothers my 5" algae blenny (he reminds me of the bulldog in the Tom and Jerry shows, big but just easy going and no one messes with him).

Sorry things did not work out for you, my Pinktail is great but I know it depends on the fish, I have seen it go both ways, someone asked me last night about my Pinktail because their Pinktail attacks their hand every time they put it in the tank. I have even heard of Pinktails killing everything in the tank....
You did the right thing, taking it back, but what a pain, putting a new fish in just to remove it right away.

It was larger than the other fish (I misjudged it's size) and I wasn't going to let it get a chance to clear my aquarium.
