i recieved 2 pink tip condies (sp.) from this site a few days ago.
one is about 1" dia. and the other about 8"
they are having a bit of a tough time deciding where to plant themselves!
i know i should give them about 2 weeks before they settle, im just curious what you guys think? i have seen that they often settle in the substrate, well the top layer of my sand is the black and white caribbean LS, that seems to 'pack' a little heavier then say normal LS, so i dont know if they are having a hard time digging into it with the foor.
for now the little guy is rolling around the sandbed, setting up shop for an hour, then rolling again, only to return to the old spot in another hour, and the bigger guy is sort of doing the same, just on a bigger scale.
any suggestions? what if they get themselves under caves, etc? just let it ride , and when they realize where the 'sun' is, they will figure out how to get to it?
also, will two black occelaris host these condies? will two clowns host an anenome thats only about 1" ?
