pink tip haitian anemone sick need help

I have a 30 gallon tank, do water 10 percent water change every week. Readings PH 8.4, salinity 1.026, Ammmonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0, alkalinity 225, phosphate 0, calcium 360, temp 80. I had my anemone about 2 months two week ago he look deferent now he is curled up and looks brown. I have two curly Q and they are very healthy. Anyone can help me out what wrong and anything I can do?

keeping 2 different kinds of anemone is not recommended. also, is ur pink tip getting enough lights? do u spot feed him? sometimes pink tip will shivel up for a day or two, then come back looking normal again. i hv one in my 150 fish-only. and i hv to say they r very hardy.

More info on your tank is needed. Lighting specifically, type and wattage. Also pics would help, 2 months is definatly enough time for something to go wrong but IMO there were issues when you purchased it, possibly not as healthy as you thought.

I have 2X400W MH + 2X200W VHO, plus he did shivel and move to a better place where he is getting plenty of light. He looks much better, thanks for your comments.

Am I reading that right???, 1000 watts on a 30?? Seems to me like he may be sun blinded ...... Lets see thats about 33 WPG!!! But I do hope he gets better.... What did I read wrong here??

Your kidding right? FYI a bluff only works if you know what your saying, you cannot get 2x200 VHO's for a 30 gallon tank. All lights for that size tank are 24" and 24 watts ea even the VHO's. And you would need a chiller the size of your fridge to cool a tank that small. Nice try though...

No I am not, it's hanging from the ceiling and about two feet away from my 30 gallon tank the original hood broke 4 months ago. Since my brother-in-law have me this 150 gallon tank with all equipment included I decided to use that lights until I get the new tank ready. I know it kind of silly to have that much wattage in a 30 gallons tank, but trying to save as much money as I can.

WOW, I guess I stand corrected then. So its considerably longer than your tank...well I would have to say be carful with what you have under it. At such a high intensity it would be very very easy to melt some lower light corals.
