Pink Tip Haitian sucked on my power head

i got home today and it was sucked on the PH i turned it off and slowly pulled him off. now he is just really bloated and a few tims sticking out...will he die?

I hope that your experience is better than mine in a similar situation. MIne took about 5 days to die after his encounter with a powerhead about a year ago. I think you have a chance if the 'mouth' did not sustain visible damage.

I also had that happen and it is still alive bout 2 weeks now.

If you cut a plastic practice golf ball opening so that it fits over your powerhead intake it will increase the surface area of the intake thus making it harder to liposuction your livestock. Small wiffle ball will work, too, but looks rather unsightly.

Put a filter sponge over the intake.

Some of my stupid fish like to eat filter sponges, but it's a better alternative than a toxic spill.
