I posted this on a couple other forums, I really really need an answer
Hi, I have a Pink Tail trigger in my reef tank. Up until a few days ago, he was doing well and happily gobbling up everything I put into the tank. One time he ate so much shrimp that his belly spine wouldn't close . But around three days ago, he slowly stopped eating. He now ignores everything I put in the tank, including clams, shrimp pieces, brine shrimp, mysid shrimp, and sardine flesh. He is growing thin and still will not eat. He comes out and begs for food whenever I walk into the room, but simply ignores the food items.
I was thinking of injecting blended shrimp and vitamin b12 down his throat, because this is supposed to get puffers to eat. Another way I read to get him to eat is by injecting vitamin b12 into the dorsal musculature. How am I supposed to do this? How do I restrain him? I need help, please!
