Pipefish

I had pipefish with my horses but IMHO they are harder and more sensitive and mine never did well, when I placed an order for my second ones thru my LFS, they never even made it thru shipping

HTH adn good luck!!

I've read that pipe fish do not go well with horses. The pipe fish are faster and consume most of the food.

Hmmmm, this past weekend I came this close *holding forefinger and thumb together REALLY close** to getting a pair of multibar pipefish for my sh tank, they were just BEAUTIFUL...at this point I'm glad it didn't work out with the mini-crisis that I was having with Apache. The pipes I was considering were eating frozen mysis, no problem. When I inquired further though, they were wild caught...not a good thing in a sh tank...deciding factor (oh, and the fact that I spent WAY too much money shopping already...
)...but mostly the wild caught thing...I just don't want to expose my horses to something that they can't fight. I didn't realize that they're much more difficult to keep though...I'm really glad I didn't go for it!!
Always, ALWAYS know where your seahorses or pipes came from!!
