pipefish

Hi. i am still cycling my 20 gall tank ,I would like to keep softies and LPS corals, is it possible to keep a pipefish ?if so what type. Thanks, Pugwash

its possible, but these fish are delicate and definately not for the beginner. they require very stable water parameters and are very hard if not impossible to ween off live food.

We get pipefish and water from the nearest marina. The pipe fish are doing great and there eating micoscopic things in the water.

they are pretty cool
have you seen those ones that are a relitive to the sea horse,..and have the same looking heads, just smaller?
very cool. I may try one in my reef some day

ALL pipe fish are related to sea horses and all pipe fish have heads like seahorses. Their fun to have. But like i siad they are better with the living ocean water.
